Harry Górski-Brown & Wojciech Rusin(PL/UK)

Based in London, Polish A/V artist Wojciech Rusin shuttles fragments of the distant past into the future, using 3D modeling technology and contemporary sound design techniques to print instruments based on ancient designs and transform their idiosyncratic wails into dense electronic soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from alchemy, early music, renaissance choral music and Eastern European mythology, Rusin purposefully disrupts the timeline, demanding a more fantastical examination of history and culture.
Rusin will be performing with Glasgow-based artist Harry Górski-Brown, who's similarly motivated by the relationship between traditional music and contemporary experimental forms. His musical and A/V works spy Scottish folk from a digital age vantage point; his GARC-released album 'Durt Dronemaker After Dreamboats' re-imagined Gaelic songs as droning electro-acoustic symphonies, and in his current 'FISHER PRICE PIPES' project, he reworks two Gaelic songs for voice, pipes and electronics.
