Nídia
One of the core artists to emerge from Lisbon's iconic Príncipe label, Afro-Portugese producer Nídia has spent over a decade testing the boundaries of kuduro, setting the benchmark with politically incisive and startlingly innovative records like her acclaimed 2023 full-length '95 Mindjeres' and thinking outside the box with her Grammy award-winning production work for Fever Ray. And in 2024, she embarked on her most ambitious project to date, collaborating with celebrated percussionist Valentina Magaletti on 'Estradas', a futurist fusion of machine muzik and pure human dexterity.
