Microplastics (aya, Jennifer Walton and 96 Back)
Longtime besties aya, 96 back and Jennifer Walton dreamt up Microplastics during a lazy afternoon at UK 'ard dance expo Bangface; the name came first and the sound, that's already evolved several times since they minted the project, might best be described as rock, but who can really tell when it's this lot involved? They're certainly a band in the traditional sense, and they do covers, too. Based on aya's prior form at Unsound karaoke, we're expecting a version of T2's 'Heartbroken'.
