Singing words and phrases in English, Slovak and Hungarian, composer and educator Adela Mede celebrates language and Central European folklore on her latest album 'Ne Lépj a Virágra', reflecting the reality of her life and upbringing in Bratislava. She borrows elements from traditional folk music and church songs and merges them with intimate, minimalist experimental soundscapes, unpicking the contradictions that come from existing at the crossroads of various isolated but interconnected cultures.
