Frédéric Gies & Fiedel present: Dance is Ancient(SE/DE)
Both a club night and a durational performance, DANCE IS ANCIENT is an ambitious collaboration between dancer and choreographer Frédéric Gies, veteran DJ and producer Fiedel, visual artist Anton Stoianov and lighting designer Thomas Zamolo. The project has already been presented in many different forms at various festivals and art museums, and for this iteration Gies sublimes the history of dance – from ballet and folk forms to contemporary club variations – into ghostly vapors, moving non-stop to the pulse of Fiedel's kinetic technoid rhythms.
