Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, 21-year old viral phenomenon Ramon Sucesso is best known for his energetic videos that show off not only his virtuosic skills but his obsession with the kind of sub bass that's so powerful it almost rattles the camera off its stand. Machine-gunning tongue-in-cheek samples over jerky Brazilian funk rhythms and dousing everything in swirling psychedelic effects, Sucesso is responsible for bringing Brazil's vibrant block parties to the wider digital world, and his debut album, last year's brilliant 'Sexta dos Crias', can be filed alongside recent tomes from DJ K and DJ Anderson do Paraíso.
